The one thing I have found that I am exceptionally well at is: Procrastinating. For starters, this blog. I don't know how long I've been saying I'll get around to it, yet it's finally happened.
Instead of doing homework right now, I am playing solitaire. I swear there are a million different ways to place the cards, and somehow I always end up with the loosing deck. There are sometimes when you just can't win. So instead of reading
The Heart of Darkness, I have played 50 games of solitaire losing more than half of them.
I did however, before my splurge on diamonds and hearts, finish my Chemistry rewrite. They are the hardest thing. Worse than the actual test. After the teacher docks the points you missed, he leaves no explanation of what you did wrong. Fumbling through my notes, I hardly could rewrite it. So I had to do what every high school student hates: stay after school. This however served to my benefit. I could asked the question:
How exactly do you do this? In a sense I finished my homework. . . for that class. I would say I'm about, hmmm. . . i don't know, one fifth of the way through. Now I know how my older sister felt when she was in high school.
My first blog entry. Feels epic, like I need to celebrate with a party. I think a nap will serve just fine.
